NIF Global – An Important Step Toward Global Creative Collaboration
At the Lotus Fashion Collective, we believe fashion is more than design—it’s a powerful entry point into conversations about identity, purpose, and the impact artists can have on the world.
Our recent visit to NIF Global in Udaipur, India marked a strong start to that vision in action.
Shanna Forrestall, Creative Producer and Founder of Lotus Fashion Collective, was invited to lead a workshop with a group of emerging fashion students. What unfolded was not a traditional lecture on trends or technique, but a deeper exploration of what it means to be an artist today.
The students showed up with openness, curiosity, and a willingness to engage—not just with the material, but with each other. Through conversation, reflection, and interactive exercises, the room quickly became a space of shared ideas and possibility.
We are building a global network of artists working across fashion and its related industries—designers, models, photographers, stylists, makeup artists, and more—who are committed to growing not only their craft, but themselves.
Through workshops, collaborative programs, and creative tools, we aim to:
Support artists in developing their voice and vision
Create opportunities for cross-cultural collaboration
Foster a community rooted in positivity, intention, and shared growth
Help artists bring meaningful work into the world
Our time in Udaipur is just the beginning.
We are currently developing future programs across India and internationally, designed to connect emerging and established artists through shared experiences, education, and collaboration.
